A Day in the Life of a Law Student

Before law school, I could see Chris whenever I wanted. Heck some days I would ride Chris's bus for hours. It was Wonderful! Looking back I can see how much I took for granted all that time I was able to spend with my Sweety.
Since Chris's started law school last August, time spent with him has become pretty scarce. We knew this going in, so before his first day of class we decided that once a week we would have a date night. (Unless he has finals, or a brief, or a research exam, or a blue book exam) Usually our date happens on the weekends.
A couple weekends ago Chris took me to see where he now spends the majority of his time.

When not in class there are only a couple places Chris 'gets' to hang out.
The Library

Specifically, Study Room 233
In between class from 7:30AM to wheneverPM  this is where Chris can be found.

Whenever Chris needs to take a small break from Room 223 or I need to call and ask him what he wants for dinner tonight. There is a sitting area right outside his study room.

When Chris has to write a brief or has a research exam, he 'gets' to wander the long isles of research books.

When it is time for class, Chris walks 'across' campus (about 2 min) to Sarkeys Law Center.

His first stop if he doesn't already have his book is his locker.

Then on to class.

If you know Chris, you will know why this is his preferred spot.

(this is his crim law classroom...the bane of this semester)

Scattered about the Law Center and the Law Library are little gems of art and small trophy shelves.

Sometimes after a hard day at Law School Chris stops for a small snack at Golden Chick, the most comparable chicken to Chicken Express in Oklahoma City to be found.

Then he comes home to me and we eat dinner, watch a couple episodes of Big Bang Theory, and go to bed to Repeat again the next day.

I am so proud of Chris for all his hard work in Law School. Almost one year down and two to go!!
